Sean Fitzgerald

Director – Head of Technical & Quality

Sean’s insurance career started with the Allstate Insurance Company in 1983, but after deciding on a career in loss adjusting, he joined a national firm, Davies, in 1990 and became Manager of their large office in Manchester. Sean continued to handle the more complex claims and under his guidance the office prospered, and Sean was promoted to Associate Director.

In 2009 he joined the Major & Complex Loss Unit of the same company, specialising in major commercial and domestic losses, environmental claims and losses for High-Net-Worth policyholders. During this time Sean handled High-Net-Worth claims abroad and travelled throughout Europe dealing with these losses.

After working in the Middle East handling large commercial claims, Sean joined Criterion in 2015 and is part of the team covering the North of England but he also handles claims throughout the UK and Europe, in addition to his duties as Technical & Quality Manager.
