Prior to commencing his Loss Adjusting career, Christopher was employed by Municipal General Insurance in Guildford to handle and process domestic Insurance Claims on their behalf. During this time, Christopher was approached by an independent firm of Chartered Loss Adjusters in London to commence training with them in 1990.

Christopher initially dealt with domestic property and small commercial claims. Christopher assisted in setting up an office in Woking, Surrey in order to provide extended coverage across the South of England. Whilst continuing to deal with domestic property Claims and commercial business, Christopher received extensive training in the handling and development of Antiques, Fine Art and Jeweller's block claims. Since this time Christopher has chosen to specialise in these areas of Insurance, as well as in the High Net Worth sector.

In 1992, Christopher assisted with the formation of a new independent Chartered Loss Adjusting business with one of the senior partners of his previous employers, with the specific intention of dealing with High Net Worth, Antiques and Fine Art, as well as Jeweller's block claims.

In June 2001, Christopher was keen to undertake a new challenge and he set up in business as Criterion Adjusters Ltd. The Company continues to specialise in High Net Worth, Antiques and Fine Art claims, however following the arrival of additional, highly experienced staff, Criterion now also handles property Subsidence work and commercial claims, as well as General Household business. Christopher also regularly undertakes Insurance Surveys and Risk Appraisals on behalf of instructing Principals.
